Our Vision is that… …all we are and all we do is underpinned by prayer. Why do we pray? We need to talk with God regularly if we are to develop a true relationship with Him. As we talk openly with Him, He can work on our desires and attitudes and teach us His way. How can we pray?

Praise – think on who He is; say “Thanks!” for His goodness Repent – saying sorry is important, and asking for His help Ask – God loves to hear what’s on our heart Yield – Remember that God is in control, and be glad! The Lord’s Prayer (a modern version): Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are Yours. Now and forever. Amen. A Prayer for families: Father God we thank You for our family and ask that You forgive us for all the times that we let them (and You) down. Bless us and teach us to grow together in love and understanding. Amen. A Prayer for busy people: Lord, please forgive us that we are often too busy to stop and talk to You or appreciate Your creation or Your blessings. We ask that You would help us get our priorities right and our lives organised according to Your will. Amen. |
