Women’s ministry

Home group women

The Ladies Fellowship House Group meets every Thursday from 10.30 till 12 (approx!) usually in the Youth Room.
We study the same material as the other House Groups but on the 3rd Thursday of the month we have a communion service, to which everyone is welcome.

A local branch of the Mothers Union is based at the Church. It’s members run:

  • A “Wave of Prayer” meeting every Friday lunchtime
  • Bumps and Babies” and “Little Lambs” for parents/carers and bumps/pre-school children every Monday morning

The mother’s Union was started by Mary Sumner, the wife of a Hampshire vicar who was later to become the second Bishop of Guildford. From a small meeting of local women in the vicarage at Old Alresford, Mary Sumner’s vision spread to five continents. It is now a worldwide fellowship of over 4 million members in 83 countries providing Christian care for families, right where it matters – in the heart of local communities.

Please contact the church office for more information on any of the above and/or look at the calendar for the schedule of meetings.
