Series : Standing Firm: The Armour of God for Everyday Battles

Life can be tough, for all sorts of reasons. There are day to day struggles, but also spiritual struggles, and in Ephesians chapter six Paul teaches that, as people of faith, we’re going to need protection in the midst of these. This is what Christians refer to as ‘Spiritual Warfare’, or the unseen struggle that every believer must take into account if they are to understand the nature of the life God calls us to . Because the bible teaches that if we commit our lives to Christ and choose to live for him then we will face opposition from spiritual forces that want to see us distracted, derailed, disheartened and defeated. So over the next eight weeks we’ll be thinking about the spiritual armour God provides for us, and how each piece acts as vital protection.

Morning Worship 9:15am (except 10am United Service 4th October, 8th November and 13th, 20th & 27th December)

Sung worship, some liturgy, prayers, readings and in depth teaching. Holy Communion once a month. This service is livestreamedand available each week online.

All Together Worship 11am (except 10am United Service 4th October, 8th November and 13th, 20th & 27th December)

A service for everyone of any age to worship and learn from God’s word. Young and old stay together for the whole service - every generation needs the others! Holy Communion once a month. If you want to find out more about our All Together Worship see here.

‘Gather’ 7pm

Gather is returning to Sunday evenings at 7pm with a new format, starting on Sunday 13th September with Gather: Praise, an evening focused on sung worship. Sunday 27th September will be Gather: Prayer - Prayers for Church Planting.  The time of prayer is for those with a heart for church planting and will be open to other congregations in Fleet. Gather: Climate will be a series of 4 sessions focused on connecting with God in this time of climate crisis, starting on Sunday 11th October.
