Summer Term 2026

Series : Hope for a Hurting Nation

Every week the headlines remind us that our society is wrestling with deep and complex challenges. Surveys show that issues such as immigration & asylum, economic pressures, and the strain on our healthcare system sit at the forefront of people’s minds. Many are anxious about the housing crisis, widening social inequality, and the long‑term impact of climate change. Others feel disillusioned by declining trust in politics and public institutions. This new teaching series invites us to look honestly at the pressures shaping our national conversation while grounding ourselves in the unchanging character of God. Each week we will explore one of these major issues, asking: What does Scripture say? How does Jesus lead us to respond? What does faithful, compassionate discipleship look like in times like these?

Our prayer is that this series will deepen our understanding, strengthen our unity, and equip us to be a calm, courageous, Christ‑centred presence in our community. We warmly encourage you to join us, engage with the themes, and allow God to speak into the world we are living in today.
