Series : Face to Face with Jesus

Our vision at the Church on the Heath is: to be a community where everyone can encounter the transforming love of Jesus. We are starting the new year with seven gospel stories where people encountered Jesus. Some meet Jesus in the context of a physical, mental or social disadvantage, others with spiritual questions. All of them came away from their encounter either healed or radically changed in some way. In this series, as we think about each person who met with Jesus face to face, we will be asking, where in our own lives do we need to encounter Jesus so that our lives change too.

Morning Worship 9:15am (except 10am United service 8th Feb, 29th Mar & 5th April)

Sung worship, some liturgy, prayers, readings and in depth teaching. Holy Communion once a month. This service is livestreamed and available each week online.

Coffee between services

All Together Worship 11am (except 10am United Service 8th Feb, 29th Mar & 5th April)

A service for everyone of any age to worship and learn from God’s word. Young and old stay together for the whole service - every generation needs the others! Holy Communion once a month. If you want to find out more about our All Together Worship see here.

‘Gather’ Sundays 7pm (no meeting 8th Feb, 19th April)

Gather is flexible space for evening worship. For a season it might look like a regular service with worship, prayer, a message from God's word, and prayer ministry; other times we will follow a course, for example 'The Bible Course' or the 'Lectio Lent Course' . This might include opening worship followed by a video and then discussion. The main thing is that we will worship and grow together.
